Your Homework
On the back of the grid paper create a shape with 4 vertices located in the second quadrant and translate it 5 units down and 8 units right. When you are finished you should have2 shapes on your grid paper. Remember how to identify which shape has been translated.

Sum of squared numbers
Sum is the answer to an addition question.
After you sqaure the numbers you must then add them together.
For example 3 squared is 3 multiplied by 3 equals 9.
Four squared is 4 multiplied by 4 equals 16 .
Now you need to add 9 to 16 equals 25.
